MATAS Robotics specializes in the development of innovative robotic solutions in the defense industry.

MATAS Robotics is a DeepTech corporation in the field of robotics that integrates educational, research, and manufacturing directions, forming a complete ecosystem for the development of innovations in robotics.

MATAS Robotics includes:

    MATAS University — an educational platform focused on training young people in STEM / STEAM, robotics, artificial intelligence, and 3D printing.

    NGO “FabLab MiRONAFT” — a prototyping and innovation center that develops educational and scientific robotic solutions.

    LLC “ProtoBionics” — a company that implements industrial and research projects in the fields of mechatronics, collaborative, and service robotics.

Mission and structure

MATAS Robotics unites a prototyping R&D center, industrial robotics services, and its own product lines of hardware solutions, forming a single MATAS Robotics Group.
The corporation’s goal is to develop next-generation technologies by combining education, science, and industry to shape the future of robotics.

LLC “MATAS University” — educational programs and training in the field of robotics.

MATAS University is a modern educational platform created to develop young people in STEM / STEAM fields: science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
We are shaping a new culture of technical education in Ukraine, where learning combines theory, practice, and creativity.
Students of MATAS University learn through real projects, experiments, and teamwork.

What we do:

    we conduct training programs in robotics, 3D printing, programming, and artificial intelligence.

    we create innovative educational environments together with FabLab MiRONAFT laboratories.

    we prepare young people to participate in international festivals and competitions, including TEKNOFEST.

    we develop entrepreneurial and creative thinking, preparing the leaders of Ukraine’s technological future.

LLC “ProtoBionics” — bionic robotics, massage, and rehabilitation technologies.

ProtoBionics is a company specializing in prototyping, bionic modeling, and medical robotics.
It is part of the MATAS Robotics Group and brings together engineers, researchers, and medical experts who work at the intersection of technology and biomechanics.

Main areas of activity:

    Prototyping of bionic systems — creating experimental models of robotic limbs, manipulators, and adaptive mechanisms;

    Modeling and research in the field of biomechanics — development of anatomically accurate models for training, testing, and designing medical devices;

    Medical robotics — development of solutions for rehabilitation, assistive robots, and next-generation prosthetics;

    Engineering R&D solutions — development of technological platforms and experimental devices for research centers and clinics.

FabLab MiRONAFT

NGO “FabLab MiRONAFT” is a public organization and digital prototyping laboratory that is part of the MATAS Robotics Group ecosystem.
It brings together engineers, scientists, students, and startups, creating an environment for learning, experimentation, and innovation.

Main areas of activity:

    Prototyping and engineering development — creating models, mechanisms, and devices using 3D printing, laser cutting, mechatronics, and electronics;

    STEM / STEAM education — training programs in robotics, 3D printing, programming, and digital manufacturing for school students, university students, and teachers;

    R&D projects and startups — supporting teams that are working on their own technological solutions;

    Partnership initiatives — collaboration with universities, businesses, and government institutions to develop engineering education in Ukraine.

Idea

The laboratory is founded on the principles of the international FabLab (Fabrication Laboratory) movement — open workshops where anyone can go from idea to prototype.Its mission is to promote a culture of technical creativity, innovation, and prototyping, forming a community of future engineers and inventors.
